Delete your account

You can use AyahShare without an account. If you signed in, you can delete your account and its data at any time, on the website (ayahshare.com) and in the iOS and Android apps.
Delete it in the app
- Open AyahShare and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Profile, then open Settings.
- Tap Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Ask us to delete it
If you cannot sign in any more, email info@eventhex.ai from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my AyahShare account". We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile: name, email address, profile photo, display name, preferences, interests, country and city, and phone number.
- Your sign-in sessions.
- Your saved designs and their thumbnails.
- Your favourite ayahs.
What is kept
- Detailed usage events, which are not linked to your name, are kept for up to 3 months and then reduced to aggregated daily counts.
- Share links you created keep working, because other people may have them, but they are no longer linked to you. Their preview images are deleted after 90 days.
- Problem reports you sent are kept to improve the service, but are no longer linked to you.
- Anonymous totals for ayahs (how often they were saved, shared or made into new designs) stay, since they never contained your name.
- Designs saved on a device while you were signed out stay on that device until you delete them on your Profile or clear the site's data.
Delete only some data
You do not have to delete your account to remove things: delete any saved design on your Profile, and change or remove any profile detail (including your phone number) in Settings.
